Since 1992, numerous children have had the opportunity to learn to sing Gaelic songs, partake in Gaelic drama or choose to play an instrument.

Fèis Latharna runs a four day Fèis around Easter and we also run successful six-week teaching blocks throughout the year. In addition we have "taster" workshops in accordion, step-dancing, clarsach, fiddle, whistle, guitar, Gaelic singing, drama and chanter.

Several Fèis participants have since gone on to have successful careers in both Gaelic TV and traditional music, while others retain fond memories of acting in Gaelic plays alongside many tutors who are now household names in the field of Gaelic drama.

Our Easter Fèis is a five day long festival of music, drama and art, culminating in a grand ceilidh and is great fun.

Tutors from within Argyll and outwith the area to add breadth of variety and many are skilled professionals, often having produced their own CD's.

Where possible, tuition is through the medium of Gaelic with children being encouraged to maximise their exposure to the language throughout the main four day Feis.

The Fèis is run by a dedicated group of enthusiastic volunteers who are committed to both Gaelic language and to traditional music.
